Magic = "spectacular"

Orlando Magic has gone from "We're an easy team to play against" (former general manager John Weisbrod) to "I thought their interior defense was spectacular," Seattle Coach Bob Hill said.

Trying to win their sixth consecutive game as Eastern Conference leaders "The biggest thing is our defense has come on," point guard Jameer Nelson said. "If you want to be a playoff team, you have to play defense."

Before Brian Hill took over as coach last season,  Orlando Magic was ranked No. 28 in points allowed (101.8) in the 2004-05 season.  Hill has been fighting this number by drilling defense into his team of better suited players willing to accept the concept.
